Paris is gorgeous and always a pleasure to visit. No other city captivates the imagination with its unbridled architectural beauty quite like this one! The amount of delicious restaurants (Michelin starred or hidden gems alike) is unparalleled, and there is cheap, delicious wine aplenty. Grab a bottle or two at any grocery store or wine shop, a €1 corkscrew and plastic assemble-yourself wine glasses, and pass the twilight with old friends or make new ones on the lawn of the Rue d’Ecole or on the banks of the Seine. Get around seamlessly on the Metropolitan underground network and visit scenic Montmartre in the north, the historic Père Lachaise cemetery in the east, or stay central and walk around St. Germain on the Left Bank. Venture on the Right Bank by visiting the major sights along Rue de Rivoli (Champs Elysées, Jardin des Tuileries) and the couture houses along Rue de Faubourg St. Honoré on the Right Bank.
